This week - in amongst the back to school rush - I managed to finish the first draft of my Christmas novella! I've been under a bit of time pressure to get it done, and there's still a lot of editing and beta reading to do, but I'm really excited to share it with you all. Here's some more information about it, along with the official cover reveal!
Marsaili and Will's happily ever after isn't turning out exactly like they planned...
Eighteen months after getting back together, and struggling to find a forever home in their small Highland community, they're still living in the upstairs bedroom of Marsaili's parents' croft. A chance to get away from it all for a romantic Christmas break is just what they need - Marsaili's brother is getting married, and they're going to spend two weeks in Edinburgh for the celebrations.
But when wedding mishaps, a flirtatious bridesmaid, and past insecurities threaten to derail their plans, the idyllic festive getaway Marsaili and Will had been dreaming of could make them... or break them.
Reunite with all your favourite characters for a Christmas holiday they’ll never forget, in this fun, feel-good, festive sequel to 'The Back Up Plan'.
It's been so much fun to spend some time with Marsaili, Will and all the McKenzie clan again! As my first novel, 'The Back Up Plan' will always hold a special place in my heart, because it's the story that set me off on this crazy journey of self-publishing and led to me meeting so many lovely people along the way.
As a special thank you for your support, a free e-book copy of 'A Hogmanay Kiss' will be sent to everyone who subscribes to my website by midnight on the 30th November 2020. As of the 1st December, it will also be available on Amazon to purchase as an e-book, paperback or to read on Kindle Unlimited.
And for anyone who might not have read 'The Back Up Plan' yet, it will be available to download for the bargain price of just 99p/99c for one week from Monday 2nd November. So you can catch up with all of Marsaili and Will's past adventures, before finding out what this festive season has in store for them...
